Last Minute Agenda Changes

Posted by mufix on Oct 14, 2009 in SFD Event |

If you have visited the agenda page today, you must have noticed a couple of changes than when we first announced the event. First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused.  But we had to do it in order to give you the best experience at the event.

First, we combined the events Introduction to Open Source and Open Source Operating Systems into one session: Open Source Concepts and Operating Systems, delivered in two parts. The reason for that is our belief that it will be more beneficial if the information delivered in one session would serve the the ones delivered in the other.

Second is having to end the event at 2:00 PM instead of 2:30, which meant having to cut some time- 5 or 10 minutes- from the all sessions’ time. This was NOT our choice. Our faculty forced us to finish up early as a graduation ceremony is being held at the same venue at 3:00 PM.

Again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience this last minute change caused.
